We can translate ideas into the most appropriate medium for their target audiences.
Not only do we make films, we also conceptualize, research and produce content for film, print or the web.
Besides film, still images are another effective way of tracking change and promoting environmental and social messages. FOP takes vast numbers of images in the form of transparencies, black and white photographs, digital photographs, and scanned in historical photographs which are used in high quality publications, websites and for educational purposes.
During extensive filming expeditions, our team has built up a substantial filme and photo archive which covers landscape, people, natural habitat and wildlife in ecological hotspots worldwide. In Africa alone, we have covered countries such as Aldabra, Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Comoros, Congo, Egypt, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.
The photo archive is used to illustrate books that accompany FOP projects or by our sister company EcoAfrica and NGO International Knowledge Management (IKM) - for lectures, reports and other publications. Our images have also been published in numerous books and magazines including National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Africa Geographic, and Africa Birds and Birding.
We all need to contribute to building a better world. Our picures are increasingly used by community-based organisations, NGOs and small businesses and are available free of charge to educational purposes on request.
